Water Intrusion
Water intrusion issues related to ongoing construction problems in a new home constructed by Lennar Homes.
Both the main house and the guest house have had numerous water intrusion issues reported and inspected. This is the likely cause of the mold issues and exposure as well.
Lennar has been unresponsive to the ongoing water intrusion issues, although they admitted after an inspection that roof flashing as well as two A/C systems that have flooded multiple times were improperly installed.
Closed in March moved in late June. So far: 6 roof leaks (toeboard holes, toeboards left in & fist size hole in decking), 3 instances of paint peeling (1 @ close 2 after), sloping neighbors house into mine, drywall cracks, exterior doors leaking, balcony crack, doors not closing.

In addition to water intrusion, other construction issues include electrical issues, HVAC problems, metal corrosion, mold issues and exposure, structural defects, and environmental concerns. These construction problems, in addition to dealing with the stress of it all for several years, have led to health issues. As well, other people get sick when staying at my Lennar home and exhibit similar symptoms.
The total estimated cost to repair all the Lennar construction defects is nearly $300,000, which includes extensive mold remediation throughout the new construction home. Although the builder acknowledged the construction issues, the senior executives I was working with eventually went silent and ignored all Lennar home warranty requests and repairs.
