After more than two months of not hearing from the Lennar executives or what they promised, I contacted the Florida Attorney General for the first time.
After not hearing from Mark Metheny of Lennar for more than two months and still not having received the updates he promised, I reached out to the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Pam Bondi. On July 31, 2017, I sent a detailed email through their online contact form and attached links to pictures and videos.

It’s the only information I sent besides some financial and transaction information that was requested from me by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. They never even contacted me with any questions or for any clarifications.
On August 4, 2017, I received this email from Pam Bondi’s office indicating they were filing an investigation into the matter regarding Lennar and WCI Communities:
Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi received your correspondence regarding WCI Communities and Lennar Homes. Attorney General Bondi asked that I respond.
We appreciate that you consider our office as a source of assistance, and I am sorry for your difficulties. The Attorney General’s Office is concerned with all potentially unfair and deceptive trade practices. We are forwarding your information to the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division for review.
We are also forwarding your correspondence to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), the state agency that licenses and oversees the construction industry in Florida. Please contact DBPR directly to follow up:

At this point, I was happy to see some progress made with some of the Florida officials. That wouldn’t last for too long.
Note: As of the date of this publication, all the Lennar executives went silent and none of the construction repairs were ever made, including the promised replacements of two, improperly installed and defective A/C units causing extensive mold exposure and health issues.
