Construction Problems

Descriptions, videos, and pictures of all of the ongoing construction problems in my Lennar home. My home was built in 2013, and the issues started on almost day one. The property address is 6111 Yeats Manor Drive at the Westshore Yacht Club in Tampa, FL.

When applicable, you’ll find each response Lennar gave to all of the construction problems.

Although the construction problems range from more minor to severe, they all add up to a ton of time, frustration, stress, money and a house I can’t do anything with at this point.

The total estimated cost to repair all the Lennar construction defects is nearly $300,000, which includes extensive mold remediation throughout the new construction home. Although the builder acknowledged the construction issues, the senior executives I was working with eventually went silent and ignored all Lennar home warranty requests and repairs.

The issues involve electrical issues, HVAC problems, mold exposure, structural defects, water intrusion/damage, metal corrosion and environmental concerns. These construction problems, in addition to dealing with the stress of it all since 2013, have led to health issues. As well, other people get sick when staying at my Lennar home and exhibit similar symptoms.

My life – and health – are nothing like they were before I closed on a new construction home built by Lennar.
